Catalysts Group

In November sometime a group of people came together and identified themselves as Catalysts Group. I was one of them. This group doesn’t have leaders or followers. We are all supposed to be catalysts who inspire each other to be proactive and become a vehicle of change wherever we go. It has already been 7-8 months since we committed ourselves to be catalysts. We met couple of times and shared how we were doing at being a catalyst. Most often we came with a feeling that we didn’t do as much as we ought to.

Otherwise, this group has been a blessing to me. At times when it was tough, this group reminded me of who I am in Christ and what should be my response. Being in this group, I feel responsible and accountable of what I think and what I do.

I think like any other new group, we have been warming up to the very reason we meet. And in months to come, I hope we all come to our full potential of being catalysts. Standing for what is right. Voicing for voiceless. Taking initiatives without waiting on others. Being purposeful and intentional in the way we carry ourselves. Not falling on the old-set-rotten pattern but daring to create a new pattern that breaths fresh air into the lives of people. Being passionate about God and people. Being creative. Being free.

I hope we can change a thing or two in the homes/family we live in. I hope we could do something about the problems that are there in the neighborhood we live in.  I hope we can give something back to the city of Delhi that we draw so much from. I hope this catalysts group truly become an agent of change.

I would be a proud reporter of the changes if we did so.
